Odds and Ends Page 3

Page 3 is now open and the site is continuing to grow in size. Perhaps there is truth to the old saying "The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits."

Tuxedo Kamen dodges Sailor Neptune's charge.
"Hey, I didn't write it! Don't take it out on me!"

  • Chibi Usa travels through time frequently and uses futuristic weapons.
Wow. Chibi Usa just turned into the Terminator. Her only weapon is a magic rod, which hardly classifies as futuristic.

  • Sailor Neptune's civilian ID is Kaiou Michuri.
Dyslexic much? Oh well, at least it wasn't Michuru.

  • Haruka and Michiru have been Senshi longer than Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus.
Doubtful, seeing how Minako got her powers when she was 13. Since Haruka and Michiru are the same age (roughly) as the Inners, for this rumor to be true, they would have to be 12 or 13, but their origin episode shows them to be just a little bit older than that.

  • Haruka and Michiru are gay in the manga, and cousins in the anime.
    No, that's the dub!

  • Pluto loves Endymion in the manga because he's the only man she ever met.
I'm pretty sure that Pluto has met her father.

  • Hotaru was 16 when she first showed up, but then she was reborn.
Try twelve. She then was turned into a baby at the end of S, then re-aged at the beginning of Stars to around Chibi Usa's age. No age given there, but she is clearly much younger in Stars than she was in S.

  • At the end of S, Hotaru turns into a baby and is adopted by Trista.
    Try her FATHER.

  • Makoto is nicknamed Lady Hercules by the Senshi.
Great, and now I'll bet Disney is already trying to make a crappy movie about her.

  • Minako is extremely shallow.
As shown by her very close relationship with Katarina and her first love, Alan, and her loyalty to the Sailor Team.

  • Chibi Usa didn't become an official Senshi until the last season.
She was always an official Senshi, but she needed to train in the past. She left at the start of Stars because her training was finished, or at least her role in the time stream in the past.

  • There is a new series in development about the love between Rini and Helios.
Which will also feature the brand new Marshmallow Senshi, versus the evil Veggie Kingdom!

  • Serena despises Rini and wants to get rid of her.
She doesn't get along with her at first, but she seems to treat Chibi Usa like an annoying little sister. Besides, Usagi obviously likes Chibi Usa more in the future when she gives birth to her, we never hear anything from Neo-Queen Serenity about how much she hates her own daughter, only how much Chibi Usa means to her.

  • The villains in the first season come from the Megaverse.
Lead by the nefarious Dr. Wily!

  • Sailor Moon is still running new episodes in Japan.
    In an alternate universe.

  • Amy is the only Scout that won't call Serena a klutz or meatball head.
Neither will Minako, Makoto, Hotaru, Michiru, Setsuna...

  • Pluto's talisman is the sacred key.
No, it's the Garnet Orb on top of her staff.

  • The Silence Glaive is the most powerful of the four talismans.
Except that it's not a talisman.

  • Queen Beryl is Metaria's daughter.
Where someone got the idea that a human sorceress can be the daughter of a big blob-like creature is beyond me.

  • Beryl is a vampire.
Sounds like someone's watched Transylvania no Mori too many times.

  • The Amazoness Quartet become Sailor Senshi in the anime.
Only in the manga. They become normal humans in the anime.

  • Helios is Chibi Usa's boyfriend.
He kinda disappears after SuperS, manga and anime, and is never mentioned again. Whether he meets Chibi Usa in the future again is never stated, though he does promise Chibi Usa in the manga that they'll meet again. Their relationship never does go very far.

  • The main villains in the first season are Malachite, Zoisite, Kunzite, and Nephrite.
Where'd Jadeite go?! And since when did the dub name Malachite qualify Kunzite as a different character?

  • SuperS is about Chibi Usa and Pegasus getting it on.
Chibi Usa slept with a horse?! AGH!

  • Usagi dreams of getting married and being a star.
Sounds more like Minako. Usagi's dream is to be a bride.

  • Usagi is 14-15 by the end of the show.
She says she's 16 in the last episode.

  • Venus has an attack called Love Me Moon Chain.
That wasn't a real attack, that was a fake name she used for her normal Love Me Chain when she disguised herself as Sailor Moon to fool Kaolinite.

  • One of Chibimoon's attacks is Kitty Magic.
That's a dub term for her using the Luna-P, that's not an attack.

  • Chibi Chibi is Sailor Cosmos' star seed.
Sounds like you mixed her anime identity with the manga...she IS Cosmos in the manga, and Galaxia's star seed in the anime.

  • Ami is afraid of love letters in the manga only.
Which would have been true if they hadn't made that chapter, "Ami-chan's First Love" into an anime special too.

  • Setsuna takes Hotaru away from her dad and she, Haruka, and Michiru raise Hotaru because they don't think that Dr. T is fit to raise her because of what he let happen.
That wasn't the reason that the Outers came to raise Hotaru. In the manga, they become her family because Professor Tomoe died at the end of the Infinity arc. In the anime, he lived, and Hotaru was returned to him until the first arc of Sailor Stars, when Pluto came back for her because the Senshi would soon be needing Sailor Saturn's power. Whether she returned to Tomoe afterwards is unclear.
