Luna and Artemis looking embarassed.
"This show is over a decade old and yet they persist?"

  • During the Moon Kingdom Mamoru and Usagi had a secret relationship. People from Earth were considered to be bad. Only Usagi's mother knew about her relationship with Mamoru because she knew that he wasn't bad.
The anime never says anything about the secrecy of the relationship, except that it was only forbidden after the Earth declared war on the Moon Kingdom. In the manga, however, it actually was forbidden, but dialogue from the Guardian Senshi after they start recovering their memories indicates that they knew about this as well during the Silver Millenium.

  • Allan and Anne help Mamoru remember who Usagi is.
Maybe indirectly, but certainly not deliberately, seeing how Al was pursuing Usagi and En, Mamoru.

  • Mamoru finds out that his nightmares about Usagi were sent by the enemies to keep them apart.
Hmmmm, that might have been a more interesting plotline... but anyway, no, it was future King Endymion meddling with his past self to test the strength of Usagi and Mamoru's love.

  • In the S and the Super S serieses Usagi and Mamoru continue seeing eachother and... sleeping with eachother. YES Usagi is still in high school... and Mamoru is much older then her.
Uhh...while they may very well do this in the manga, as a scene implies during the Black Moon arc that the two of them slept together, their relationship in the anime is much more innocent - to the point where many of Mamoru's peers in school don't even think they're a serious couple (due to Usagi and Chibiusa's antics, naturally). In addition, in the manga, Mamoru is still in high school - the age gap was an anime addition.

  • In the Starts series Mamoru leaves for collage. Usagi is very sad. She is not completely fateful to him while he is away, but in the end everything works out.
Not completely faithful? She doesn't date anyone, doesn't get any crushes, and is completely oblivious to the not-so-subtle passes being made at her by a ROCK STAR with the hots for her! In addition, Mamoru was already in college in the anime. He was going to spend some time at Harvard, apparently (this makes more sense in the manga where he started the series in high school).

  • Usagi pretty much cheats on poor Mamoru with Yaten while Mamoru is away at collage. Usagi has no idea that Yaten is really a female disguised as a male. Usagi and Yaten go out on dates and have fun together. Usagi still has feelings for Mamoru though so things don't really work out between her and Yaten after Mamoru returns in his Prince outfit. (I mean come on! Who could resist Mamoru in his Prince outfit?)
Usagi was dating Yaten? Luna's gonna be jealous...

  • Ami yells at Usagi for not studying enough.
If by yelling, you mean meekly lecturing her, then yes she does. Either that or somebody threw Ami and Rei in a blender...

  • Before Ami met Usagi she didn't have any friends. Other people thought that all Ami was good at was studying and she wouldn't like doing anything fun.
They actually thought that she was so quiet because she was being a snob.

  • People at school spread rumors saying that Makoto got kicked out of her old school for beating up a teacher.
It was never stated who Makoto got into a fight with, or even if it had really happened. However, at no point was a teacher ever brought up as a target. The assumption was simply that she got into fights.

  • "Tsukino Chibiusa" means "Beauty of Water".
Seeing how "Chibiusa" is a nickname for "Usagi", which means her name has the same meaning as Usagi's...where the hell do you get "Beauty of Water" from that?

  • Haruka pretends to be Michiru's cousin, but it goes much deeper than that.
Sounds like you mixed a few version there...in the French version, Haruka pretends to be male to hide her identity and Michiru "pretends" to be "his" girlfriend. In the English dub, they actually are cousins.

  • Sailor Pluto is immortal.
Hardly. She dies in the manga twice, once by her own actions and once at the hands of Galaxia. Galaxia also kills her in the anime. She is only immortal in the sense that the other Senshi are, in that their sailor crystals will constantly be reborn. She apparently doesn't age because of the time she spends at the Time-Space Door, but no word on whether she ages outside of it.

  • Setsuna can tell the future from the stars.
Uhhh...Setsuna has access TO the future. I think that's why she knows so much about it...

  • Poor Hotaru had 3 souls living in her. The soul of Mistress 9, herself, and the soul of Sailor Saturn.
Hotaru was possessed by Mistress 9, but since she actually IS Sailor Saturn, it's hard to call that three souls. Having a different personality as Saturn is different from Sailor Saturn being a different entity.

  • The Sailor Quartet sleep in asteroids until they are to be awakened.
They're sealed/sleeping in the Amazon rainforest.

  • Sailor Tin Nyanko was killed by Galaxia for failing too many times.
That was Sailor Iron Mouse. Nyanko was killed because Sailormoon had half healed her and she was utterly useless because she was paralyzed by indecision.

  • There are five seasons of Sailormoon. Sailor Moon, R, Super R, S, Super S .
I love to do my grocery shopping at the Super R.

  • Chibi-Usa will grow up to be evil ' Wicked Lady' and take Momoru from Usagi.
So when she grows up, she'll turn into her evil self and seduce...her father?

  • Later in the series she runs into Tuxedo Mask who appears as her mysterious savior whenever Sailor Moon runs into trouble.
Later? He's in the first freaking episode!

  • To cap the original series off, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask must combine their forces to use the Silver Crystal in the final showdown against the Dark Kingdom.
Except that he'd kicked the Tuxedo Bucket by that part.

  • Usagi's English name is Serena Moon.
    Not...going there...

  • Usagi's birthstone is the moonstone.
Umm...it's a pearl. She was born in June...there's no such thing as a...moonstone...you're scary...

  • Usagi's favorite place is the Palace of Versailles.
The hell? Are you making up stats as you go along?

  • Usagi's bad habits are laughing at signs of trouble.
Yes, she laughs so much she sounds like she's screaming with fright.

  • Usagi's most powerful enemy is Queen Beryl.
I'd put Galaxia leagues ahead of Beryl, seeing how Galaxia had already destroyed most of the universe by the time Sailor Moon fought her.

  • If Usagi wasn't a Sailor Scout, she'd be a singer or a stewardess.
Being a Sailor Senshi is actually a job? You could, like, put that down on your job applications for work experience and stuff?

  • Ami can memorize 100 English words in a day.
I'm pretty sure she's already quite fluent...

  • Ami's hobbies include playing on the computer.
Dude, you mean Ami-chan plays Doom and stuff? I never knew she had it in her!

  • Ami dreams of visiting Greece.
All right, stop making up stats dammit! I'm warning you!

  • Minako's special talent is remembering proverbs.
...or so she claims...really, what version of the show are you watching exactly?

  • Minako's favorite place is the space shuttle.
Because she's a space case? Oh, I slay me.

  • Venus' hardest battle was against Heavy Metal Papillon.
Venus was already dead by the time Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon appeared.

  • If Minako wasn't a Sailor Scout, she'd be a normal girl.
You mean she'd stop chasing idols and trying to be one? HAH!

  • Minako gained her Sailor V powers in England.
She already had them before she went there.

  • Darien lost his memory following a battle with Queen Beryl. Unable to become Tuxedo Kamen, he still felt compelled to defend Serena, so he adopted a new costumed identity, Tsukikage no Knight (Moonlight Knight), until his memory was restored.
This is obviously contradicted by the fact that Tsukikage no Knight and Mamoru have been seen together and Mamoru had no idea who Tsukikage no Knight was. In the meantime, Tsukikage no Knight was actually a part of Mamoru that appeared to protect Sailor Moon while Mamoru had no memory of her.

  • Mamoru transforms into Tuxedo Ramen.
"I am Tuxedo Ramen, defender of poor college students!"
